New York, NY - On November 22nd, three unique recording artists will take the stage at Webster Hall behind a month-long social campaign encouraging the general public to “Shine The Light” on everyday examples of hope and justice.

Alternative hip-hop artist Dylan Golden, Brooklyn EDM duo Pax Humana and Grammy-nominated recording artist Dru Barnes headline the #ShineTheLight concert event, organized by upstart music imprint Thankyousomuch.

“Music has always been much more than entertainment – it has the power to bring people together in ways that nothing else possibly can,” says Alphonzo Terrell, founder of Thankyousomuch. “#ShineTheLight is, therefore, more than a concert - it’s a broad idea that anyone can use to create value and participate in our movement, even if they cannot physically attend the event.”

Building on the social call-to-action, the media generated during the #ShineTheLight campaign will be creatively incorporated into the performance itself and a portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the “Power The World” initiative, which provides solar generators to hospitals in Uganda without sufficient lights or electricity.

“Each performer has a personal commitment to the expansion of consciousness on the planet, “ says Dru Barnes, one of the headliners for the event. “I’m extremely honored to be a part of the experience.”

Tickets for the event are on sale now for $10 through the Thankyousomuch homepage (thankyousomuch.co), or $15 at the door.

Says Terrell, “The only question left is, where will you #ShineTheLight?”
